Discover one of nature’s most spectacular shows—and immerse yourself in the arctic scenery around Yellowknife—on this late-night Aurora viewing excursion. Following pickup from your Yellowknife hotel, head to the edge of town, where you can get cozy in warm teepees with hot drinks and snacks as you wait for the Aurora. Your Indigenous guide will share stories, and a professional photographer will capture the experience (and send you photos afterwards).

Day 1 Your City -Yellowknife Airport 

You will get picked up (24 HOUR Airport transfer service)

Based on your flight arrvial time, our tour guide will meet your flight and show you name in the airport.  Our guides wear red Canada Goose parkas with the mark of a black polar bear on the right chest.  

Transfer to Chateau Nova/Explorer Hotel

Aurora Viewing (4-5 hours) at night  

Aurora hunting by bus & Aurora viewing  at Aurora Teepee Lodge 

We will drive you to different lakes and locations to hunt for the best spot for Aurora viewing and relax  in our luxurious bus.   You will enjoy seeing Aurora's reflection on the lakes when Aurora appears.

You will also enjoy Aurora  in a comfortable, cozy cabin at Aurora Teepee Lodge. Hot beverages and snacks are served. During the visit, our First Nation host will show how to hunt in the Arctic and show different furs. Opportunities to try on fur and clothing will be available.  Our tour guides will provide freeAaurora photography service during viewing time.

Day 2 City of Yellowknife Tour & Optional Tour

CityTour 

Explore the beautiful City of Yellowknife:  Frontier Visitor Centre. A scenic drive through downtown and iconic Old Town to the Pilot's Monument where you can overlook the view of Yellowknife.
